Terms and Conditions for online payments

By proceeding with an online payment, you are confirming your unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not wish to accept these terms, you should use another payment method.

For your own records, you should print this page using the Print option within your browser's File menu.

Credit Card and Debit Card payment are free.  There is no charge to the customer for using any accepted payment method.
The amount paid will be deducted from your card.  This will be sent to our bank, but a fee will be charged to us for this.  If you have any query regarding this fee, please contact us before sending your payment.

Special offers:
a special offer price is exactly that - a reduced price for a block of 2, 6 or 12 hours. Should you not use the whole amount of the special offer hours, the standard hourly rate will apply to the hours taken, and any refund will be reduced accordingly.

Intensive Courses:
You should only pay the deposit on an Intensive Course unless you have received an invoice for the balance.  The deposit is only refundable if seven days notice is given to cancel such a course.

You must not make any payment until an instructor has confirmed that they are able to fit you into their diary. Please speak to us first.

In accordance with our General Terms of Business, any lesson that is changed, shortened, missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours notice is chargeable.

Refunds are rarely necessary, as things rarely go wrong.  If you cancel a course of lessons part-way through, then a refund is at our sole discretion.  Any lesson that is already booked will be charged, unless 48 hours notice is given.
Should the instructor decide that all future lessons should be cancelled, then a refund is made without question.  This protects you from making a payment, only to find that the instructor cancels and keeps the money!

Should any refund be necessary, this will normally be paid back to the card you used for making the payment. Some card issuers will not accept a payment in this way, so you are advised to check for the refund on your statement, and advise us as necessary.
A fee of 4.5% of the original amount will be charged on all refunds, to cover the costs involved in processing the card.
A fee of 2.5% is charged by the card processing company, and we have no control over this. When we process a refund, they will deduct this amount before paying you. Any query with regard to this should be directed to the processing company.

An example:
You pay for 12 hours, at £19 each = £228
You take 6 hours, and then decide to cancel the rest.
Those six hours are then charged at the full rate, £22 = £132
A refund is processed at £96 less the fee of 4.5% of £228 = £10.26
You will effectively be refunded £85.74
The processing company deduct their fee of 2.5% = £2.15
You receive £83.59

This is not the only method of paying for your driving lessons.  Credit and Debit cards are convenient for you, so this is why we accept them.  They are expensive for us, and you will cover these costs when requiring any full or partial refund.
