These are becoming more popular, but are not the "quick fix" that some people think they are. An Intensive Course is not necessarily going to get you a licence any sooner or easier than regular driving lessons might. Intensive Courses are great for people with some driving experience, especially those who have failed a driving test in the past. If you have a few areas in your driving that need polishing, or can do everything except one or two manoeuvres, then again, Intensive Courses can help. The difficult thing with Intensive Courses is having to take everything in really quickly, with little or no time between "lessons" to actually understand what you have learned. Of course, it's also vitally important to know that you can get on with your instructor and their car. Imagine having to spend a whole week in a small steel box, with someone you can't stand - and you can't even get comfortable in the seat. For that reason, it is essential that you take an Assessment Lesson first, without further obligation. This 60-90 minute session will give you a chance to meet me and my car, and to ensure that you can put up with both of us for however long it needs to be. And the other benefit to the Assessment is that I can give you an accurate appraisal of your driving, and discuss how many hours would be needed to prepare for your driving test. Intensive Course Prices First of all, you will need to take an Assessment Lesson. This lasts between 60-90 minutes, and costs £20. Should you choose to go ahead with any course of lessons from L-Training, the Assessment Lesson fee is refunded against the course cost. This essentially makes the assessment free! Then the courses are priced based on £19.50 per hour. When shopping around, you will find that most companies charge MORE for Intensive Courses, yet they are more profitable for the instructor, as there is less wasted time between lessons. The Driving Test Fee is then added. This is currently £48.50. So, for 10 hours, including a test at the end, the price is £243.50 15 hours = £341.00 20 hours = £438.50 25 hours = £536.00 30 hours = £633.50 How about a Guaranteed Pass... Well, how about I guarantee that it will be dry, sunny and traffic free during your test as well? Of course, no-one can guarantee that you will pass a driving test. No matter how good you are on the day, there might be someone else that does something to affect your test. Even a perfect driver makes mistakes that are out of character! Some companies WILL try to guarantee you a pass - but usually this comes at a cost... These companies will offer a free retest, either because you will have paid for it already in inflated lesson prices, or subject to you taking a further course of 10 or even 20 hours! I would rather save you the money, and do everything I can to get you through the first test. Even if you take two or even three tests, you will still save money with my prices... why not phone round and see? Oh, and of course - you can still pay for the intensive courses using a Credit or Debit card - how many other companies offer this? Where do you want to go next?
