DSA Consultation Documents out again...  these show 
Test Fee increases as follows:

Theory - 2005 - £21
Practical - 2005 - £45.50

Theory - 2006 - £21.50
Practical - 2006 - £48.50

 

 

John Dorries has checked on the Gap Insurance
offered by Peugeot Finance.  Driving School cars
are not covered by these policies, but John has
managed to obtain a full refund on his premium.

Andy Brown recommended that members check their 
own policies as appropriate.  John suggests that people
should be able to obtain a refund as the policies may
have been mis-sold.

 

 

New test routes are in use in Folkestone.
We are trying to obtain full details, and will update you as
soon as these are available.
Meanwhile, you should be aware that one of these
routes requires a right turn from Links Way onto 
Cherry Garden Avenue...  this may take a bit of practice
for the average learner driver...

"A customer looking for lessons has been told by BSM that she must have 10 hours on the simulator, at a cost of £158, before she get's into a car.

Then she will need a minimum of 32 lessons."
